Field Service Technician

Duration – Contract to Hire
Location – Memphis, Tennessee

This position is responsible for customer support for our client thru-out a certain area, following established policies and procedures, adhering to schedules and meeting service levels.  Oversees that appropriate documentation and records are kept.  Communicates with other departments and customers to ensure satisfactory customer support.  


Duties Include

  • Providing exemplary customer service to all customers 
  • Develop a positive relationship with all customers 
  • Follow all SOPs
  • Installing and maintaining hardware and software on desktops and laptops
  • Follow all inventory controls.
  • Research, evaluate and recommend technologies to support business requirements. 


Knowledge & Skills

  • Solid trouble-shooting skills
  • Possess strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to converse at multiple levels
  • Highly motivated, self-starter and comfortable working with minimum supervision 
  • Willing to work odd and on-call hours
  • 1-2 years of experience in PC maintenance
  • Knowledge of MS Windows and Office are required 
  • Experience in tech support and/or customer service is required.
